Finally changed the pads on mine beginning of last month, 40K front & rear no warning lights yet
Managed to break the front sensor as I removed it but wires still intact so left it tied back and only got round to fitting the new one tonight after the warning light came on after the Irish off-road trip and I found the sensor head had come away
Anyhow - I got as far as installing the new sensor head and routing the cable up behind the wheel arch liner, before I ran out of time - considering removing the wheel arch trim and going in from the out-side rather than trying to do it blind from inside - anyone tried this?LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Plenty of room once you pull the inner arch out the way
All done, thanks Wiggs Took all of 5 minutes once the wheel was off - couldn't have done it this quick without those pictures LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Glad I've ordered these, the brake pad warning light has come on whilst I've been hooning round the tracters on the country roads this morning. Might take it a bit easier on the way home............... Bodsys Brake Bible

So thanks to these instructions & wiggs extra information,
I have succesfully fitted front pads & replaced sensor (that sensor is a b itch to disconnect!)
Fronts were down to about 1.5-2mm rears were on about 3
Also fitted the rear pads & sensor.
Followed the EPB adjustments (although did one wheel with a dodgy torque wrench )
Once you've done it once, its actually a fairly simple process.
Went through the full bedding in procedure (man that's a boring way to spend 15 minutes!) for the EPB and now it's all pretty quiet.
I didn't take the rear disks off to clean out the brake shoes as I didn't realise I needed a star socket set, (which I don't have...) but the adjustment seems to work fine. Maybe next time if the screech comes back I'll take them off properly.
Anyway, all sorted & thanks to TFC for the impromptu numpty technical support over the phone. Bodsys Brake Bible
